Privacy Policy
ExportKit Pro is an add-in for Autodesk Fusion 360. This policy describes what data the add-in collects, how it is used, how long it is retained, and how you can request deletion of your data.
1. Data Collected, How It Is Collected, and How It Is Used
ExportKit Pro stores the following data locally on your machine in a settings file in your Fusion add-in folder. This data is collected automatically during normal use:
- Trial export count — the number of exports used during the free trial. Used solely to enforce the 30-export trial limit.
- EULA acceptance status — a flag recording that you accepted the End User License Agreement. Used to avoid showing the agreement on every launch.
- License key — entered by you at activation. Stored locally so you do not need to re-enter it on each launch.
- License type — Individual or Business, determined at activation. Used to display your license status in the UI.
- Email address — the email associated with your Gumroad purchase, returned by Gumroad's API at activation. Displayed in the UI as confirmation of your license.
- Export version index — Fusion file version numbers for previously exported designs, stored in an
exportkitpro_index.jsonfile in your chosen output folder. Used solely to enable the incremental export feature.
All data above is stored on your local machine only. None of it is transmitted to ExportKit Pro servers because no ExportKit Pro servers exist.
License verification: When you activate a license key, ExportKit Pro makes a single HTTPS request to Gumroad's license verification API (api.gumroad.com) containing your license key and the ExportKit Pro product ID. This is the only outbound network request the add-in makes. The response returns your purchase email and license type, which are then stored locally. No further network requests are made after activation.
2. Third Parties
The only third party involved in data handling is Gumroad, Inc., whose API is used solely for license key verification at the time of activation. Gumroad receives your license key and product ID during this request. Gumroad provides the same level of data protection described in this policy for any data they receive in connection with ExportKit Pro license verification. Gumroad's privacy policy is available at gumroad.com/privacy.
ExportKit Pro does not share your data with any other third party, including analytics providers, advertising networks, or any other service.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
All data stored by ExportKit Pro resides in two locations on your local machine:
- Settings file:
%AppData%\Autodesk\Autodesk Fusion 360\API\AddIns\ExportKitPro\exportkitpro_settings.json— contains your trial count, EULA acceptance, license key, license type, and email address. - Export index file:
exportkitpro_index.jsonin your chosen output folder — contains file version numbers used for incremental mode.
This data is retained on your local machine until you uninstall the add-in or manually delete the files. ExportKit Pro does not retain any of your data on external servers. When you uninstall ExportKit Pro, the add-in folder is removed by the uninstaller. To fully delete all stored data, also delete the exportkitpro_settings.json file and any exportkitpro_index.json files in your output folders.
4. Revoking Consent and Requesting Data Deletion
Because all data is stored locally on your machine, you are in full control of it at all times.
- To delete all add-in data: Delete
exportkitpro_settings.jsonfrom your add-in folder. This resets your trial count, removes your license, and clears EULA acceptance. - To deactivate your license: Open the ExportKit Pro dialog in Fusion, scroll to the License section, click "Activate / Manage License", then click Deactivate. This removes your license key and email from the settings file.
- To delete the export index: Delete
exportkitpro_index.jsonfrom any output folder where it exists. - To request deletion of your Gumroad purchase data: Contact Gumroad directly at gumroad.com/privacy.

Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where required, prompt users to review and accept the updated policy within the add-in.
